AD TYPES

1) Sponsorship

– Highest priority: It means no lower priority Ad can serve with it until this Ad finishes its ad-serving. Another Ad of same priority (sponsorship) can only compete and can share the voice

– Runs Direct sold paid Ad

– No impressions goal: This Ad type uses weight instead impression. The weight can be anything from 1-100%. Number of percentage decides how frequently this Ad should appear on the said targeted web page.

– Uses CPD as its pricing model: These Ads are costlier than any other price model, and are usually booked as CPD

– It stops delivering the Ads only once the end date is met

– You can assign internal priorities (normal, high, low) to prioritize the delivery with another sponsorship Ad.

 

2) Standard

– It is the second highest priority Ad type

– Runs direct sold paid Ads

– This is the most common used Ad type for most of the Ad campaigns

– It can be booked as CPM or CPC

– The delivery stops if the said impression/click goal or the end date is met

– It also stops delivering the Ads if it has met the daily delivery goals

– It can compete with any Ad of same priority (standard)

– You can assign internal priorities (normal, high, low) to prioritize the delivery with another Standard Ad.

3) Network

– This is the second lowest priority ad type

– Runs low CPM network paid ads

– This is used to traffic Network Ads. Networks Ads are low CPM ads that come into picture when there are no direct sold campaign available for delivery

– – All network Ad type campaigns compete with AdSense or AdX on CPM values entered in the Network line item

– They do not have a impression goal, as they’re supposed to deliver maximum impression ensuring there is no inventory left unfilled

– These Ads also work on weight basis, and the weight can be anything between 1-100%. The weight decides the frequency of times the Ad should appear on the webpage

– Stops delivery once the end date is met

4) House

– This is the lowest priority Ad type

– Runs internal promotional non paid ads

– No impression goal, and runs infinitely until the specified end date

– Main purpose is to ensure that there are no blank spots delivered, making sure rich user experience

– Usually run image ads
