Unable to save Flash creative

There are multiple reason why you’d not be able to successfully upload a flash creative;

  • file name has special character
  • higher then version 10.1
  • does not match the dimension of the inventory size
  • does not have clickTag implemented (see here for clickTag information)

Consider below changes in your upload process, and you should be able to upload your flash creative;

  • Ensure you rename your file to have no special character
  • If your file is higher than 10.1 version, upload your file via System Defined Template named “Flash banner with optional third-party tracking”. If you think that your file does not have clickTag implemented, please select “Use click overlay” within the template as YES, and “Flash allowscriptaccess” as ALWAYS. This will make your file clickable and will also count clicks in DFP.
  • If you get an error saying dimension and inventory size do not match, tick the option that says allow different size.
  • If you file is of version 10.1 or lower, but does not have the clickTag implemented, tick the “
